I am a physician and sixth generation Minnesotan who just completed my first session representing our District (33B) in the Minnesota House of Representatives. It has been an honor to serve our District.
I’m proud that while Minnesota has the only divided government in the country, both sides were willing to compromise and crafted a budget that works for our state.
The final budget protected access to healthcare for more than a million Minnesotans, adopted measures to address the opioid epidemic, added protections for seniors in assisted living, increased per-pupil funding for our public schools, provided additional environmental protections for our beautiful state, achieved Federal tax conformity and implemented a middle class tax cut.
It’s a tremendous privilege to represent our communities at the Capitol in St. Paul. The legislature is back in session. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions, ideas or if I can be of assistance. I hope you’ll attend one of my upcoming Town Hall meetings (see Events & News).
